Registration fee Free of charge (all are welcome) Call for papers The Linguistics Department of Thammasat University has the pleasure to announce the Thammasat International Symposium on Language and Linguistics to be held on 23 September 2011. We invite national and international scholars to present papers on all subjects regarding linguistics and language teaching. The conference will be held in the Liberal Arts Building on the Tha Prachan campus in the old heart of Bangkok near the Royal Palace and Royal Temple. A proceedings containing all papers will be produced and published in a special issue of the Journal of Language and Linguistics. Participants will be allocated 20 minutes for presentation, plus 10 minutes for discussion. Deadline for abstracts: 31 March 2011, via email. Notification of acceptance: 29 April 2011, via email. Format of Abstract Abstracts are preferably written using a Unicode font and should consist of two or three pages as follows: Page 1 Paper's title Abstract body (maximum 400 words). Be as specific as possible yet to the point, with a statement of topic, approach, and conclusions. Page 2 Paper's title Author's name Affiliation Contact E-mail Address References (if any).
